Hi Everyone,
Well it's been a while since my last blog. I hurt my shoulder/arm and it took over a month to heel. My mom moved and I had to pack her house, we had a huge yard sale, my aunt from Dominican Republic came to visit us for a week, then my mom came to live with me a week later. I had 3 boutiques and then to top everything off, I hurt my shoulder and wasn't able to move it until 3 days ago. Summer is Here
It's been a while since I have last blogged. Hope everyone is having a nice summer. My family took a trip to Arizona. We drove over 1800 miles and saw all of Arizona. Hot weather, but lots of fun.

Spring Boutiques are on the way! / My son learns to Roller Skate - guess who falls!
Well, I am still plugging away at my new venture - Cute and Comfy Cushionknee. I am thinking of adding a few other items soon... Stay Tuned! I have a couple of boutiques coming up here in California. One in Thousand Oaks - Calgary Church/MOPS and Crafty Lady in Chatsworth. Wish me luck! :)
So it was family day today and we decided to take our 7 year old son roller skating for the first time. My husband and I kept saying we just don't want to fall, we just don't want to get hurt. Please let us just teach our son to skate and go home with no aches and pains. Of course that wasn't the case. 15 minutes into skating, my son is in the middle of us and we are gliding slowly and doing fine until 4 teenagers collided and who gets hit! Yes ME, flat on my butt and the pain went straight to my head! OUCH let me just tell you. I am not young anymore so I was trying so hard not to fall the entire day! Now it hurts to walk. We still skated the rest of the day and even though I was in a little pain. My son wasn't happy in the beginning and yes crying did take place- (not easy for parents to teach children ... I guess that's why there are private lesson/group lessons LOL ) But then an hour later, he was gliding 4-6 inches and so proud of himself. Well, at least he said he wanted to try it again. Mission accomplished :) except for my butt :(

My Mom had Shoulder Surgery, Husband and Son are Awesome
Hi Everyone, (or no one.. I am not even sure if I am doing this right)
Well it's been a crazy week. My mom had shoulder surgery and thanks to my husband, he's been a big help. I have been living at my moms house since last Thursday. My son is the best. He's been writing her cute feel better messages and I miss you mommy notes. He slept over 'grandma's' house on Saturday and was the happiest child ever. He kept saying all night how he couldn't believe he was having a grandma and mommy sleep over. He was so helpful and such a good boy! I love you JCB. Well business is okay, still reading blogs and figuring out how to have others read mine. I am reading about blog hops so maybe if I do them, you will read this. :)
Cute and Comfy Cushionknee is still a work in progress. My son helped me with inventory this week. He enjoyed counting all my fabric covers. He put them in order as to his favorite and of course what could have taken me 15 minutes took 60 minutes, but that's okay, it was time together and that's what counts :)

Getting Ready for a Big Boutique
Hi Everyone,
Well it's a beautiful day here in Tarzana, California. Blue skies and clear as can be. I would say it's about 75 degrees. It sure is amazing how a child can make your life just so amazing. My son is just sooooo sweet. He gave me a note that says mommy you are delicious when you smile, you have the sweetest hugs and you are mine. I just melted when he gave that to me. He truly is the world to me. Now if I can just stop him for getting older..... I love when they are still young. He's 7 almost 8 and I am just so sad he's growing so fast!
So this week is a big boutique for me. I am gearing up for my lovely kneeling cushions with cute fabric over them. I have some nice new fabrics and can't wait to share them. Feel free to visit my website. I love comments and feedback. It's tough market out there, but I truly think these are so cute and great for parents bathing children or kneeling down when cleaning the floors/tubs, exercising, and even as a toddler sitting cushion. My Second Blog
Hello Everyone out there. It's been a crazy week. I have a few giveaways going on and finally I am doing a giveaway on my blog as you can see. I am still figuring out this blog thing, but it's fun. It's Saturday and 7:00am in the early quiet morning where my family is sleeping. The weather is still in the mid 70's and clear sky. The best time to get things done. My son wanted me to let you all know that if anyone out there has kids who loves dinosaurs and has any questions to please send them his way. YES, He is addicted to dinosaurs. Going on one year now. Walks, talks, sleeps w/, acts out, eats like, reads about DINOSAURS. In all my life, I never knew at my age (mid 40's) I would have to learn over 100 dinosaurs, how to spell them, know where they live, what they eat and so on. Yes I learned words like Sauropods, Hadrosaurs, Pachycepholosaurus, Celophysis, Giganotosaurus, that there are no dinosaurs that fly, they are called flying reptiles. Well I can go on, but you have the idea. Uh Oh, I think I hear my son stomping down the stairs. Oh by the way did I mention his name is Joshodontomimosaurosauss.
Okay so now for my TOP 5 LIST I mention I would try out. Today will be about the Top 5 Museums

I am not quite sure what I am going to write about so how about I let you know the weather in sunny California. It's about 75 degrees and quite windy today. I have so many questions about blogging and where to begin, so I will start here - I named my website Mom Created Item for Mom and or Child because I wasn't sure what I was doing when I began this big venture. Now that I have been reading other blogs and starting to understand it, I may change it or just leave it so I can laugh about it someday when my blog becomes popular.. Ha ha... Well that's it for now, I am going to surf the internet and maybe come back with some interesting news later this week. Maybe a TOP TEN LIST or something about new moms or new moms starting a new business... I don't know, but you will see soon.
